Drupal
I’ve been working on some website stuff and having tried several CMS (zoomla and drupal) I’m liking drupal… Fiddling around with this stuff probably explains why this wordpress blog has been a bit cocked up last few days…
Anyway brought some proper hosting and domain names, so i can work on it more without breaking stuff. Eventually this blog might move but for now it will stay here.

I have a general PS3 development question. I’ve heard it said that because of the amount of ram that the PS3 has, that it is unable to have anti-aliasing on any of it’s games. Is this true? Second part, which you may not be able to answer, is the game you’re working on going to utilize anti-aliasing? One thing I am certainly hoping to leave behind in the last generation, is all of the jaggies.
Also, some have stated that the 256 megs of video ram is not sufficient to show as many colors as the 360, and that all the PS3 games shown thus far are looking washed out and having no color. I personally don’t see that, I think it’s more of a design decision on how the devs want their games to look. Just wanted to get your opinion on this..
More updates on how the development is going on the new game are always exciting. I enjoy when developers are able to update their fans as much as possible on what is going on, of course without violating any NDA’s.

But all the PS3 games so far my friend (except maybe the Unreal) are using AA (mostly 4X) Heavenly Sword included. The developers said it a long time ago.As for the colors, you just said it yourself its a design decision.Heavenly sword is colorful.Lets see if Deano will say other wise

We’ve publically stated we (Heavenly Sword) are 4xMSAA with HDR with some anistropic filtering thrown in for good measure…
As for amount of colours… theres more than enough room for billions. Which colours are actually used for each game is of course, that games choice.

Good answers by both.
Heavenly Sword is looking great, by the way. Looking forward to seeing more screenshots and gameplay of more areas of the game.

Keep going with Drupal! You’ll find it a formidable system. And if you have any problems, there’s always the forums and the IRC rooms to help. If you live in or near London, we meet up twice a month too
